We are approaching the end of the school year and the start of the summer holiday – it doesn’t seem possible that another school year is drawing to a close. I know this year has not been what we envisaged when we set off on our learning journey together in September 2019…
We had hoped to have been able to open the school for the last few days of this term for other year groups but we were not able to do this as it would have meant closing the classes of priority groups and we would not have been covered by insurance – never mind – we tried!
This week we have e-mailed letters about how we will be re-opening fully in September. We will be very excited to see the children back in school full time. There will be some changes and some necessary adaptations - but we will manage and the children will still receive their entitlement in terms of the curriculum time. There will also be a focus on mental health and well-being when we return. Fortunately we are an established iTIPS School (Islington Trauma Informed Practices in Schools) so we are ready and prepared for this time of transition.
Please check the term dates and additional information that has been sent to you (more than once!) and which is also on this website. If you have any questions please get in touch with the school office at firstname.lastname@example.org or ring on 020 7837 4049.
I hope you all have a safe and happy summer holiday.
Take care everyone.
With my prayers and best wishes,
‘And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.’
