Our Unique School
A group of children from Year 6 were part of the News Club led by Prof. Lis Howell our CoG.
This culminated in the children going to City University to use their studios to make a film.
And here it is…
Dear all,
We have made a special documentary called "Our school - its history and mysteries". This was made by the News Club in Year Six of St. Andrew's Barnsbury. The material was all researched by and in most cases, filmed by the twelve children in the News Club. They prepared their own interview questions and were not fazed by interviewing people like the Archdeacon of Hackney, the Venerable Liz Adekunle (a former pupil at the school), and the ITV News presenter Mary Nightingale. The film is 30 minutes long which seems like a big commitment to view but the children are really good and the film has a fast pace so please do give it a go.
