Reception Class visit to St Andrew's Church
Reception Class visited St Andrew’s Church, where Rev Caroline led a session introducing the children to key aspects of the Christian faith. They learnt about the significance of the cross, explored the meaning of the bread and wine, and examined features of the church such as the foundation stone, stained glass windows, and the font used for baptisms. The children also enjoyed listening to Rev Caroline play the grand piano and were particularly impressed by her “special vicar clothes”, as one child described them.
